Visual-Country Map

 

Using various resources create a poster expressing your knowledge of your immigrant's country. The information on your visual must provide an understanding of the country "Then" and "Now". The following must be included:

  1. Map: Provide a visual representation of the country then and a visual of the country now. These maps much include a compass rose, legend, and scale. Be sure to identify the time period for each map.
  2. Landforms: Identify rivers, mountains, lakes, cities, and other major topographical features.
  3. Population: Identify the human population of the country for each time period (Then & Now).
  4. Major Cities: Identify the where your immigrant was born, as well as the capital.
  5. Departure: Identify the city where your immigrant departed from.
  6. Destination: Identify the city in the United States in which your immigrant settled.
  7. Common Destinations: Identify other regions/cities in the United States in which your immigrant group settled.
