Just a reminder…
Children should be wearing LONG
pants when we depart
(NC staff has asked that all
students are ready for the field)
NO Food or Candy of any kind is allowed!!
No ELECTRIC appliances
(Blow dryers, curling irons, alarm
clocks, irons,
Game-boys, CD players etc.)
A raincoat is a MUST HAVE item!!!
No MONEY or VALUABLES
(There is NOTHING to buy)
NO open-toed shoes/sandals
Do NOT bring any sports equipment
There will be NO swimming or water sports
NO tank tops, halter tops or short shorts
Perfumed items are NOT permitted
(no gel, hairspray, make-up,
glitter lotion, flavored lip gloss,
perfume or cologne)
Bug repellent and sunscreen
products are provided by HKMS
and distributed by the NURSE
(Do NOT bring your own ‘stash’ of
lotion)

quiet time
Pack light –
YOU
have to carry your own bags & sleeping
bag
Put your sleeping bag
and pillow in a trash bag and write your name on it
Coordinate your
outfits in layers – you will be prepared for any weather/activity
Bring NOTHING that
smells good! It attracts bugs…plain shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.
Keep in mind – you
are CAMPING everyone’s hair sticks up!!
A baseball or camp
hat for the sun and for the hikes
(preferably a Red Sox
Hat)
Disposable camera
with your NAME on it
