Students will be introduced to the i-SAFE Program
through the Direct On-Line (DOS) Program and Guidance classes. This is a program
that received a grant
from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention,
Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice with the goal
of promoting Internet Safety.
i-SAFE has a specific link on its page for Parents. Follow the
arrow
and search through the i-SAFE site for Special Tips for Parents.
Our goal at Helen Keller Middle School is to educate your children
about Internet safety and keep them safe. It is important for
them to know that "this can't happen to me" is false. We
need to work together ... teachers and parents ... to keep your
children safe. Stay informed, stay ahead of them, learn about
the Internet yourselves and know that things are ever changing.
